I am having a hen do and have invited my mother in law to be. But also some of my work colleagues, who quite frankly can be rather vulgar in the conversations they have. (Even without a drink)
How can I curb this? Shall I mention that my OHs mother is coming and ask them to tone it down? Xx

Yeh I think just warn mil2b, if that's their personalities then let them be I think! And if u ask them to be careful it might slip their mind at points throughout the hen do anyway x

I agree with the others - warn mil 2b.....I assume she will be expecting a bit of bawdiness at a hen do anyway, so it might not come as such a shock. Xx

Warn your mil if she would be offended by this but she probably expects a little bit of vulgarity on a hen do. I wouldn't tell your work friends to tone it down though as they may be offended.
