Wedding Forum - A pleasant surprise.......

Well, we have been putting off suit hunting for ages, so last week I kicked the boys behind and told him to get an appointment booked...

Originally he wanted a very retro powder blue suit, thankfully he changed his mind (but not until I had changed the colour scheme to accommodate this - grrrr men!) so me, h2b, sil2b and her husband (who is our best man) set off this morning. It was rather amusing as they had decided they wanted to do it all themselves, but last night they asked us to come along...which I was quite pleased about!

Anyway, we have hired two lovely grey suits with a silver waistcoat and dark purple rouche and hankie, they looked so smart in them - we were worried as h2b is tiny - 5'4 and 28 inch waist and best man is a six foot ex rugby player, but the staff were great...

But I was really impressed with the price - £70 per suit!

Feel a but bad because part of the reason we didn't have ushers was to save on suit costs and now they've come in over a hundred pound under budget!

That's just about the last 'big' thing ticked off the list. We had a meeting wi the venue yesterday too, which went great and made me fall in love with it even more xx

We're not worrying about suits they're paying for their own so we have a best man and 3 groomsmen x

Yeah I was sooo pleased - think we are just going to use the money elsewhere.

Really wasn't expecting it to be so inexpensive as its a national chain - it was amazing who good the pair of them looked in correctly fitting suits (h2b wears a suit for work, and we normally just get them from m@tal@n and you could really tell the difference in the way it hung on him).
