I was just wondering how many 2015 brides are on here and what have you done so far?

What we have done so far :-
    Bought my dress
Booked the venue and paid half of the actual quote
Choose the bridemaids, ushers, best man
    Made a provisional guest list
    Made appointments with different photographers
    Staring to buy our favours
    Started looking at evening entertainment
Got a quote for the suits
    Priced up invites

    In the pipeline :-
Choosing a colour scheme (i did have on pretty early on, but my sister in law stole my idea!)
    pricing up flowers
Looking at different table center pieces

You have done much more than me Camilla. We are getting married in August 2015 and mostly all I have done so far is book the venue. There is quite a lot included in my package at the venue though, including the DJ, the table centre pieces, a toastmaster and a 2 tier cake. I have also chosen a colour scheme and theme and made a provisional guest list. We have a close friend who is a photographer so I am hoping that she will do the photography but I haven't actually asked her yet.

Mind you, my mum is getting married this June and I have been helping her with all the planning so have been researching quite a lot and have lots of little ideas from that.

I had thought I would worry about the other things nearer the time, but you have got me thinking that maybe spreading the cost and the stress over a few months would make it easier.

oohhhh your lucky your wedding package includes so much, takes alot of stress off you then.

aaawww i bet all your focus in on your mums wedding at the moment not yours, but as you said you still pick up ideas aswell!

we have started early only because as you said we can spread the cost and not have to save HARD!!.. although we are still saving HARD! lol

i like the non stress planning and can actually look around for ideas.. although my sister in law is getting married next june (2014) and my fiance and i are hoping to take ideas from her wedding and also see what works and what doesnt..

Yes I feel that I'd like to get my Mum and Dad's wedding done first and then I will really start planning for mine. Helping her has not only given me ideas, but also has helped with sources things cheaper as I will be able to use a lot of the same suppliers :) Hopefully you will get the same thing. Yes, actually trying to see what does and doesn't work is a great plan, although as I have helped with my mum's planning I am really hoping that everything will go well :)

I know what you mean about saving hard. We are trying to save for the wedding, but also a house deposit - arrgggh! It's exciting though!
