Its my hen party this weekend and we are going to Alton Towers for the day and then off for a night out in Manchester. I change colour in the slightest little bit of sunshine so I am worried about betting suntan lines as Saturday is supposed to be sunny. my question is, would you go strapless top and take extra layers like a cardigan in case its cool or wear a lose t-shirt? My mum seemed to think that I would still get sleeve marks with a t-shirt but the though of going on a ride with a strapless top on does not fill me with masses of confidence that the people won't be stood at the end of the ride sniggering at my picture as I have accidentally exposed myself when the top falls down! What option would you go for?

i would wear a t-shirt i think and then layres so can take them on and off as you want xxx

I'd wear a loose thin, long-sleeved cotton top over the top - that way definitely no 'tide marks'! I'm on medication that makes me photosensitive, so have to do this at the slightest bit of sunny weather or I end up like a lobster. I tried t-shirts but my arms still got burnt :(

Perhaps some high spf sunscreen is in order, as you can still tan through clothes. I once got a polka dot tan from a polka dot bikini!
