I finally think I found a make up artist with a style I like, I'm super fussy about people doing things like my make up so I was so relieved that I found someone who had the style I like and who I felt comfortable enough about to start doing trials etc. (My H2B didn't think I'd ever find anyone!) But the problem is that I have 7 of us needing make up done (me, 4 x BM and the 2 mums) which is just too much for one person to do and not have to go round and re-do it all, would just be too early a start for her to do it all and it wouldn't all be fresh. So I now need to find someone else to do it with her or find someone that has people they already work with? Does anyone have any ideas?

I'd either pay for a second separate makeup lady who may work out cheaper or ask them to do their own makeup if you're happy for them to wear their makeup how they want xx

My makeup artist is just doing my makeup, I have 4 bridesmaids too but I'm just getting them to do their own...plus it means they can save £30 from the cost because I wasn't gonna pay for their makeup to be done, I trust my girls anyway and thy all wear their makeup pretty natural all the time anyway x

Most make up people I have contacted say it's about half hour per person and are happy to do us (5) allowing 3 hours. For 7 I guess you would need 4 to 4 and half hours. My hair lady wants hair done before make up too so we have to factor in another half hour earlier. I also wanted an hour buffer after we should all be ready - just in case of any problems on the day. So I'd first decide if I was happy with the time it will take for one person to do all make up and second chat with make up lady to see how she feels about it all fitting.
My best friend is a hairdresser and i went to help her out at a wedding last year and the wedding was at 11am and wanted 7 people's hair done so allowing for 30 minutes per person meant we started at 7am. It was fine as got through everyone but it did mean everyone was up so early, including us at 6am and a long morning. It can be done but i would speak to your make up artist and check she is happy to be arriving so early, obviously if your wedding is later it will make it easier. Maybe some of the girls can do their own make up instead to save time and money? xxx

We have got 6 people that need Hair and Make-up and we have only got 1 make-up artist and 1 Hairdresser. My hair dresser is coming round at 6:30 and the Make-up artist is coming at 7:15.
My make-up artist said that it will take half and hour per person and im having a trial for the bridesmaid so that should help with timings.
I have to leave for the venue at 11:30 as were getting married at 12:30 and I have to see the Registrar before.
What time are you getting married?
Cant wait until I become Mrs K

Oh gosh, I'm pleased I never went with having my sisters as bridesmaids....there's 5 of them alone! Luckily I only choose my 2 best friends, so only myself and them for hair and make up.
If your bridesmaids are older I'm sure they wouldn't mind doing there own make up (tips from yourself obviously) x
If there ever comes a day when we can't be together,
Keep me in your heart,
And I'll stay there forever <3
