Is anyone getting married in a hotel, and are you walking down the aisle to music? Im not sure if to have music because it's going to be a small aisle, im not looking forward to walking down it anyway (i dislike being center of attention) so should i have music or not, by the time it starts ill be at the end if you get what i mean??

Mines non religious too.. Have a piece of music instead :-) My aisle is quite short so no point in having a song with words as most intro's are longer than my aisle haha.. I'm having Moonlight by Yiruma, it's beautiful xxx
I can't wait to become his Wife :-) <3

I think it could be a bit quiet and u may be more nervous without music, I think you'll be able to time ur walking better too x

The aisle in our registry office is small too - Registrar suggested Bridesmaids walking in first, one by one - as otherwise everyone gets all bunched up and it takes a bit more time. I'm also having a page boy carry the rings to best man so he will also walk in after bridesmaids before me - we're hoping if we walk slow, I will walk to the last verse of song

i have told my other half me and the bridal party are going to come down the isle to gangnam style!!! of course im pulling his leg (although there is a small part of me that thinks it would be hilarious)
One BIG day will lead to lots of little happy days !!

I only had a short aisle, I sent my flower girl in first then my two bridesmaids, and finally me and my dad. I also had Pachelbels Canon and they just faded the music once my dad handed me over to my new husband and he had sat down. Chances are you won't even notice the music you'll be too nervous. I got halfway down the aisle and realised 'oh they got the right version of the music for me!" :) xx

I agree with the others that it's your day and you should do what you're happy with, although if you had no music, it may make you feel more nervous, because of the silence? Maybe as Georgie suggests, you could have a piece of instrumental music playing? xxx

Lol i like the moonlight song. I plan to walk very fast though aha. Pretty much dragging my dad. My little sister will be 3 not sure she'll walk down or just stand and wait for me or run to my mom, so yeah that bit will go pretty much go fast to :p ... Yeah my older sister plays the piano in band, might ask her to record something that i can walk to :) Thanks!!!

I am having The Real Thing (slow version) - by Gwen Stefani. It doesn't have a particularly long intro ... plus I have 6 bridesmaids lol.

Just something to think about Ashleigh - there's a thread asking if you could do it all again what would you do differently - lots of brides said walk slower down the aisle and take it all in. most people say it was a blur. I'm not keen on being the centre of attention either but from other bride's posts, it seems like walking down the aisle is a magical moment x

Yeah, ill think about it, but i think as soon as i see my other half ill start crying. I don't like to cry in front of people let alone 50! lol so still think ill rush xD
