so h2b has only got 2 requests for the wedding - 1. the cake has no icing and 2. we go on a cruise around northern europe for honeymoon.
the cruise he's chosen runs from may - september which was perfect when our date was june 7th but we've now decided to push it back to december 7th to give us more time to save! He loved this cruise so i've said we will wait until the following june to go on it as a delayed honeymoon/anniversary holiday. (+ it gives us 6 months from the wedding to save for it!) but i really want to book somewhere for us to go on a minimoon immediately after the wedding. If anybody knows of anywhere ideal please can you post links on my wall! preferably a cottage or cabin but would be open to a hotel if it's in the countryside.

We're staying with the season of ho at a place just outside dumfries in Scotland, it's a little cabin with a hottub...it was around £400 for four nights in peak season, so will be a lot less in December I should imagine. Xx

York is lovely. We went there for a week's holiday last summer. As a side note, tell the hotel you're booking your honeymoon. You'll be amazed at the freebies you'll get. (Bottle of champagne, free upgrades, etc). I booked our mini-moon yesterday in London on a secret hotel deal saved £50 straight away.

Ive not been to York since I was a kid and really wanna go back! There are lotsa adverts in newspapers at the moment for deals on rail fare plus hotels in York xx
