im having 2 bridesmaids one who wil me my sis in law! and the other is a friend, and the best man is his brother! But the witnesses cannot be related to us! I cant ask other friend as she was his brother and my sis in laws witness. So who else do we ask?

Why cant they be related hun? is this your choice? As a witness can be anyone who knows the reason they are signing, so it can even be a child as long as they understand what is happening! x

it just has to be one from each side of the family/friends, so he has one witness and you have one witness
sorry girls i should have explained we are going abroad! so they cant be related. But his brother and wife already think we are trying to copy them by going abroad, so i feel as if i cant ask the mutual friend as she was witness for them x

Witnesses can be anyone you like! You don't even have to know them.
Although some countries do not allow relatives.

Any other friends going? If not ask at your venue, you will probably find they can supply the witnesses for you hun x x

oh!!!!!well in that case, anyone who is going with you, as im sure its gonna be an intimate wedding!!!!!!i would say is there anyone related by marriage?does that count or not?

Ah right didnt know the rules were different for marrying abroad, is there anyone else in your wedding party who isnt related that could be a witness? If not you could ask the person doing the service for their wife/husband to be a witness. x
