I had my hair trial last night with my hairdresser aunt, it turned out to be a bridal nightmare! my aunt didnt do it right and me and my MOH had better ideas on how to create my "Kate middleton" wedding day look. After aloy of tears and tantrums from me and my aunt, she went home and i ended up staying up untill half 12 doing my hair with MOH again and it looked ok! i refuse to pay hairdresser prices now as i didn't budget for it but i will if i had too.

This is were all you lovely ladies come in, i really need advice, is my hair good enough or shall i book a hairdresser? Honest answers please :)

    Will add pics now.. xx

Really? i think it's because i've done it myself and i don't feel special and pamperd. This is the second time i've practised now and the pics in my album are the second attempt, the first attempt was better. x

Looks lovely hun. Like Brilly said, just keep practising until you're 100% with it rather than using a hairdresser. And invest in some good product to keep it all in place on the day x

I vote for hairdresser because every bride deserves to be pampered on her big day :)

But your hair looks great & you don't need one.

i am haivng my hairdrsser put my rollers in on the fri and taking them out and finishing it off myself. I had a tiral and it was awful. I had another trial with my own hairdresser and what i want is so easy so saved myself another £75 as my hairdresser did it free as i was having my highlights redone.

I agree thAt your hair looks great...

However, it might be stressful doing it on the morning of the wedding and of course you might not feel as 'pampered' if you DIY.

Could you go for a put up in a salon, don't tell them it's for a wedding and it will normally only cost between £20-£30 and use it as a sort of trial...might be a way of testing the water without going for a full bridal trial?

Personally, I'm doing my own hair and makeup, but only coz I hate people touching my hair (getting it cut is a nightmare!) xx

i need to learn to read the posts properly i was thinking whats she on about the hair dresser has done a grand job, but then i read it again (as i know i have a tendancy to miss read lol) and its impressive you have done that yourself

though the only thing id say is will you not be stressed out on the morning will you have time to do it yourself in the time you will have to get ready? Afew practice sessions should sort that out though. It really does look lovely

I think it looks lovely, so if you can't budget it in then you can always do it yourself as it looks lush. However, i think if you can find money somewhere in your budget, it might be nice to have it done professionally, coz every bride should feel pampered and special xxx
