I was wondering if there are any brides out there who plan on not wearing any make up at all for the wedding day. I usually never wear anything and my h2b requested that I should not wear any kind of make up on the day as he wants to marry me not someone else. :)

Ah that is lovely of H2b be to say that but no way would i go without make up (very rare on a day off to have no make on) but if u happy and comfortable to go withoutt ehn why not.

I generally don't wear makeup but will be wearing makeup for the photos. There are styles of makeup application that enhance how you look rather than cover it up.. There is no need to trowel the stuff onto your face,

I am still quite spotty and I have blemishes on my cheeks so I will definitely be wearing make up. It won't be plastered on, but I'll chose colours to compliment the theme and my own complexion but still look sort of natural.

sarah - I'm the same, I never wear make up, even when we go out, one reason is I don't have a clue on what to do and what looks best etc, and 2 I just generally can't be bothered to spend the time putting it on when I could be doing something else lol.
But I am having it for the wedding, but only light my hair/make up person said she can do it as light and natural as possible.
I wear make up whenever I go to uni or out I don't wear make up when I stay indoors But deffo on my wedding day going to stick to my natural make up the brown tones of my skin but I want to have extremely green piercing eyes H2B used to me with and without my make up but my skin is very oily and has a tendency to break out at times so deffo wearing make up on my big day =D ♥ X

I normally don't wear makeup, might put a bit on if I'm going out somewhere nice. For the wedding I'm going for a pretty natural look, certainly won't be wearing loads of it :)

You could always just use a transparent powder hun, that'll combat any shine and you won't even be able to tell you have it on.
I'll be having mega natural makeup. x

I don't wear makeup. But I will be doing on the day. Ill end up coming out in loads of blemishes due to stress on the run up to it so if I say I'm wearing makeup I won't stress too much about that.

I wear very little on my skin, just a bit of neutral powder to combat shine but I always have black eyes!! eyeliner, mascara all the time even if just in the house haha!
If you are comfortable doing it without then do it without!

I don't normally wear make-up either, but I couldn't not wear any make-up for my wedding day xx if that's what you want to do, then you should definitely feel comfortable xxx but I just think a bit of make-up enhances how you look in the photos as mentioned before xxx

I don't wear make up unless going out ... but wore make up on the day - my brief to the make up person was "Natural but not too natural" meaning I still want to look like me, but a fabulous version of me!

id wear a little as the photgraphers camera may wash you out! and they pick up every detail! if i didnt wear make up my h2b would wonder whats wrong!!

I don't wear makeup that often, however on my wedding day i asked for a natural look, which just made my skin tone look better etc. I would not have gone with nothing personally, as the last thing i'd of wanted to look back at my photos and thought... wish i'd of covered that up or something xxx

I never wear any make up at all, but I will be wearing make up, having false eyelashes too, not going over the top but I want to look like me but extra special. I am wearing a fab wonderful dress which is something I never thought I would wear and want to compliment the whole outfit. Never do anything with hair apart from ponytail. I want people to say thats not Vickie but it is cos I am a typical tomboy.

You have to take into account the photography are you having flash photography if so you may want very natural makeup. You could also do with using a product to stop oil if it's a hot day you don't want to look sweaty or shiney. I'm a makeup artist so will write on your wall now

i very rarely wear make up as i cant be bothered for the most part, but I couldnt do it if i knew pictures were being taken, and especially on my wedding day
while I think its lovely of your H2B to say that (amazing actually!) I think id at least wear some make up. You don't wear wedding dresses every day either, its the one day we're all supposed to really go to town and get dolled up, you can still have a natural look and look yourself even with a bit of extra lippie or eyemakeup, i just wouldnt want to look at my wedding pictures and think, well, gee, i look like that every single day
