Don't confirm bridal party till 6 months before - this will avoid the people who change due to jealousy over your engagement, so they avoid/backstab
Remember mates rates do not mean a stress free life, and urgency might not be in their vocabulary.
Dont find out your pregnant 3 weeks before your wedding - if you thimk you are resist the urge to find out.
Plan early and ignore those who mock - if you dont you could find yourself doing personalised favours less than 48 hours before the day.
Check delievery dates for your suit hire place - otherwise you could find you have to pick suits up after 5pm the day before the wedding. Or having a huge arguement.
