Hello all, i'm getting married in 2012 but have started making stuff already cause i wise to make alot of my stuff and put a personal touch on my wedding.
I need some decoration ideas from my fellow Brides - to be.

I'm making hanging decorations from metal hearts and beads that I'm going to hang on the ladies chairs.
I've also bought shed loads of ribbon and going to use a wide organza one for napkin rings by tying in big bows.

hey hun congrtas to you to,i would say look on ebay for ideas for thingsand also hobby craft is a good place for things,i got all my flowers(foam roses etc) from there an was cheap!!

Thanks for ya suggestions, wasn't sure if people really reply or not lol. I have made my mock invites so just need to make more neerer the time, i have made my wine glass charms, place cards and pew bows. I am planning on making my bouquet, buttonholes, service sheets and wedding cake (did a cake making course). Just cant really think of any decoration ideas. I dont really want flowers as centre pieces or candles (have children coming so candles aren't appropriate). xx

How about bowls of sweets as your centre pieces seen as how you have kids at the wedding! It sounds like you are pretty much organised x x
What about crystal trees, if you google DIY Crystal tree centre peices there is a website that shows you how to make them really easily and cheaply too! Have a look at my profile pics to see the sort of thing! Can be made for about £10 per centrepiece if you get the supplies from ebay!

Some of the girls on here are having tall martini glasses with crystals in them for their centrepieces. Or you could have fishbowls with coloured fairy lights in them as they would be so effective but quite simple to do. Another idea is having decorated vases or bowls using coloured wee tiles or glass paints. x

Thanks girls these are all very goo ideas. Love the Crystal tree one as i am spray painting a bit of tree from my garden and handing tags for table plans which is also being used for guests to write memories about me and hubby 2 be to peg to the branches. x

try ribbon oasis for ribbons if you can't get the right colours from Hobbycraft etc.x x

Balloons for centrepieces r always a good idea hun! U can stagger them and decorate the weights to ur colour scheme!! Also good to have some on dancefloor and the kids will love them! xx
