To hell with that..sorry but that is a security issue isn't it?

Therefore it needs to be reported hun, not only to your Hall manager etc but also potentially to the Police I would have thought, or is that just me being too gung-ho?

Any word on the flatmate getting chucked out yet???

Yup..security issue, Laura, honestly, report it!

If they broke your door, think of your safety, that shite is frightening to happen & you should not have to put up with it ever!

You could just report to the management company that you have been come aware that B has been in your flat on X day with demon flatmates permission. You do not need to say how you obtained this information. Also that they have found a camera blackspot to enter the building "undected". as a result you are concerned that they could enter the building and damage or steal your property. You could also make sure everytime you leave the flat that you shut the laundry room door thus preventing B from entering the flat, i know this a pain but it might make things difficult for them! x x

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but when I was in halls I had a guy in the room below who played loud music til all hours and used to bang on his ceiling just for the fun of waking me up (nothing compared to your problem by any means). So I complained and said I wanted to be moved. I know it's not ideal, as why should you have to go, but is there any way that it could be a possibility? My rent was paid, but they still allowed me to do it.

It feels wrong suggesting it, as you're not the one in the wrong, but if they won't evict after all these problems, perhaps they'd do this?

I agree that you should most definitely report this as it is a security issue and causing harm to your door is also not allowed and should be reported as all this is putting you in danger too Lemondrops. x

is there no one you can go complain to whilst they are there? Maybe if they witness the horribleness they would do something, and also complain to your students union? arent they supposed to look after your welfare?

is there anyone else living nearby that can get help for you? Or as Angelaeris says call the police but on the non emergency number rather than 999 so that they can send someone out to check whats going on, if you say to them you feel in danger and this isnt the first time this has happened then they should send someone out for you. Sorry I dont live nearer or else I would round there like a flash. x

When Sam had probs with his noisy neighbours who just laughed when we tried to ask them to be quiet, he phoned the police. They said they wouldn't come unless things were out of hand....well I think you have grounds to call them, cos things have gone beyond out of hand. Or contact someone about noise pollution? Does that still work if you're in halls? Said neighbour had a lovely letter from the council telling them they'd be in court if it carried on, never heard a peep after that, but don't know if they would do that for halls?

Im so sorry your still dealing with this, I too would report it as it is a definite security issue! If people have been banned and are still getting in then surely you have to get rid of the proximate cause in this case the flatmate they are visiting!

What an absolute nightmare for you pet. I'm i halls at the moment too and I know it can be pretty awful at times. People just wander in and out of our flat constantly and I'm pretty powerless to do anything about it. But you're having a truly awful time, feeling intimidated in your own home. Have the police come round yet? I think it's a bit much also that they enforce the rule that you can only have your h2b over 2 nights a week (we have that rule too but most people ignore it) and yet they are so unhelpful when it comes to something serious like this. I really, really hope this is resolved soon for you x
