I've been finding it hard to decide who should do the reading. I wanted my brother to do it so he could be included but he keeps not getting back to me when I ask him things and he doesn't seem very interested in the wedding :/
So I asked my sister who is also my moh and she said she'd be happy to do it.
Is it okay to have the moh also do the reading? I don't know if it is supposed to be someone different.

i dont see why it should matter, i have no idea who is supposed to do what traditionally myself, but I wouldn't let that dictate how you want to do it anyway, no one is going to be sat there saying ooh shes not done that right, so go for it :)

It's entirely up to you. If your MOH is happy to read then go with that.

30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.

If that's what you want then go for it.
Most people have others do the readings so that they can be involved like you wanted with your brother but you don't have to.

    It's not wired.
I think it's actually sweet. Gets the girls more involved aswell as the speeches are normally done by the men.

I dont think it matters. I went to my uncles wedding a few years ago, and one of the bridesmaids did a reading.
I'm having my MOH do one for us. It was originaly going to be a female friend of H2B's, as I thought it would be nice for her with having no other involvment in the wedding. But she has just let H2B know the other week that she is now not up for doing it.
