I am totally gutted right now, i sent my invitations out last week. One of my bridesmaids texted me yesterday and said she has exams beteen the 1st and 12th of November (the wedding is on the 10th) I've said its her call and we can just hope that she dosn't have one on the day before or after (she has to travel to london for them) .
I actually don't know what to do though, its causing me so much stress! :(

When will she find out for sure? It seems a waste of money getting her all kitted for a bridesmaid dress etc if she won't even make it. Awww hun, you must be soo disappointed? (( hug )) can't you ask someone else? xx

What a pain - who has exams in November! Fingers crossed it'll be ok and also she gets the dates very soon. A couple of our guests are waiting to hear about exams in May - we'd really them them to be there but it's not the same as your situation!

its poop aint it. most of the guests at our wedding are h2bs family, i only have a few people that are close to me coming. one of them is my friend who ive known since i was little and im gutted now 'cause she cant come. we had to change the date and she will be abroad wen we get married. im so upset 'cause i realy wanted her there! but if theres nothing that can be done, i suppose we wil just have to have a good time without them there.they wouldnt want us having a poop time. and im sure we can celebrate with them another time x

I'm just so upset. Manxbird, she's doing a Uni course at home so she has exams in werid times in london, i'm more annoyed since i mentioned it to another mate and got told that she's known for weeks but didn't know how to tell me.
I could ask someone else but it wouldn't be the same; i think that if she can't make it i'll just have the 1.
Not sure when she finds out for definate when they are, but i'm not gonna get her stuff untill we know for definate, i'd rather it be a rush than spend money to not have her there.
