I really need some advice! It might sound trivial but i Get married in two days and my skin is a scabby mess! I wasn't well last week and broke out in cold sores and spots. The spots became infected, now I have a massive scan on my cheek and one on my chin. I don't get spots at all and to get them now is devastating! I'm only thinking about this and not enjoying the ruin up at all! Does anyone have any good cover up ideas?

have you tried giving your skin a littl exfoliate with an exfoliating sponge, then cover your face in sudocreme?

What Roxanne said - I used to do beauty and if someone had bad skin I would always advise a good exfoliation for a couple of days before having make up done. Make sure it's not too harsh though as your skin is very delicate on your face. I would recommend a St. Ives scrub?

Then you need a good dose of tea tree to keep inflamation and any infections away. Moisturise with a good moisturiser that is suited to your specific skin type. Then make sure when having your make up done a high quality make up primer is used.

I LOVE the smash box photo primer. It makes a fantastic even layer on all types of skin!

    I hope this helps!

when i get enormous spot scabs i just keep them dosed up in TCP and they dry out really fast, just try to avoid picking it off!!! You should at least be able to reduce the size of them this way if they dont go completely (the edges will start flaking and i gently pick at them to reduce the size lol without trying to rip the whole thing off)

The red mark the scab leaves will still be there, but at least thats easier covered!!

good luck hun, I can sympathise, it always happesn to me when i have plans

Can you see a dermatologist? They have a whole kit of doctor only goodies that can work miracles on skin.

Get some Freederm spot cream, it's fantastic and has an anti inflammatory in it. Also make sure you drink lots of water in the next two days. Stay away from tea, coffee, soft drinks and alcohol. Don't eat any junk food, sweets or chocolate, stick to veg and lean protein. This will all help you clear up and help prevent any new breakouts

So sorry to hear this, I would defo exfoliate and get something on it to dry it out. Are you having a make up artist? They can usually work wonders x x
