    Hi,

I am getting married in France, in Normandy. I also was born there!

I am getting married in August 2014, and I decided to get an "officiant" who speaks English and will conduct an unofficial ceremony. I didn't want to have just a dinner in France with my guests, I also wanted to walk down the aisle with my dad! I call it an "American wedding" and it is an amazing option as you can choose everything you ike, from the text the officiant will say, to the music, to the decorations... It is much more flexible than getting married in a church. You can still exchange the rings but you can also do something else that represents you more.one idea is to mix 2 different colour of sands, the groom could poor white sand in a vase while the bride the pink one. It was really nice to look at the two colours getting mixed up and also unusual.
