My fiancé and I went to our first wedding fayre today. I loved the fact that we got drinks on arrival. It was brilliant to see and compare a number of different photographers, and we've ended up deciding to go with one that we found on here. It wasn't a huge fayre; there was only one transport company who was too expensive, and one videographer who didn't give prices, but we're planning on using someone that my fiancé knows, assuming that we like his work. There were a few clothing places, but my MOH is doing dresses for me and the BMs, and my fiancé will probably use a chain as his two best men can then just visit their local shop. There were things that we never would have thought of as well. There was a magician, which we weren't interested in, and when he asked us our date as we went passed, it turned out he's booked then anyway. There was also a hypnotherapist offering help with weight loss. We've both lost a fair bit of weight, so I simply said we had that covered, and walked off ever so slightly annoyed that he thought I looked like I might want to lose weight. All in all quite a successful visit, although unfortunately no DJs which is the next thing that we need to look at.

Glad you enjoyed it, will your venue not recommend any djs? That's how I got ours x x
They might well do. It's not a concern at the moment though. We're trying to get a bit ahead on things because we know that between September and December we'll have very little time, as we'll be busy with a Christmas project. If we can get photographer, videographer, transport and DJ sorted by the end of August that will be fine.
