I have my heart set on an escort tree. From the first time I saw them I just fell in love with how beautiful they can look. I'm making the name tags myself and going to write on the persons name and which table they are sat at. I told my venue this when we booked but as they do a seating plan in the package they said they will still do it. Then my mum was moaning the other day about not having name cards on the tables and people will just sit on any seat then a couple might get to the table and not be able to sit down as people would leave gaps. But if the venue do the seating plan and I put name cards on the table, then won't people just look at my escort tree and just think 'what was the point in doing that'. Have any body had at there wedding or been to a wedding where there was an escort tree and how was it all set up. xx

Well I was going to use it as a wish tree too. Double use for it. x

Anyway you could have the backs of the tags say a chair number so you could still say where people sit. ie a little table picture where number 1 is at the front of the table decoration and goes clockwise?? I don't know if this is too complicated just thinking as I write

If you have a table plan I really don't think you need the escort part of the tree as well hunni! Honestly I think you should just keep it simple and just use it for the wish tree
