Ordered a copy of a Maggie Sottero dress from china about 2 1/2 weeks ago which hasn't even arrived yet, but made the mistake of trying on the dress of my dreams and ordered that one from the shop. Suprisingly h2b said 'don't know why you skimpted on a dress off ebay for under £100 but want to spend nearly £200 on each bridesmaid dress' lol. So I've done it but haven't told the Mother in law yet...she paid for the first one and is now paying for the 2nd...ooops! feel really mixed up about it now

I am on my 3rd dress and i'm still unsure the first 1 was from china and is well out of the running the second one i bought from a wedding dress sale and i hate it now it just isn't me and the third i bought from a friend brand new with tags which i do like but i am thinking of selling all 3 and starting over with a completely different style :-(

LOL thought I was bad! Haven't even tried the first one yet but I've just a feeling it wont be the same as one bought from a shop here. The one i've just got is stunning and I loved it straight away...you know when you find the one :o)

Fester i wouldn't worry about it lovely you hav found the dress of you dreams so enjoy that fact, but i think your H2B has a point with the BMs dresses costing more than your original dress, thats one thing i would make sure is cheaper than mine lol. if your dress from china isn't custom made you can usually return them, if not you could sell on it on ebay or a wedding dress websitexx

whoever said you HAVE to wear the first dress you choose? no-one. its your day so wear what you like. I bet theres loads of women that have bought lots of different dresses. x
I say wear them all throughout the day, keep your guests on their toes lol x

I tried on a maggie sottero dress and loved it. however i decided it was too expensive, so I walked away. I went to a bridal shop that sells ex-display dresses and seconds and settled for a similar looking dress for 400 pounds. I paid a depoist and allowed my head to rule over my heart. I couldn't help looking for the maggie sottero dress I originally wanted on ebay. As luck would have it, it came up. It was an ex-display model, still had tags and certificate. I brought that for 250 including postage! what a bargain. I wish I hadn't have settled in the first place and I'm lucky I only lost a small depoist on the other dress. Go with your heart and if you search hard enough you'll find what your looking for xx
