Umm... Not sure yet. Am considering saving club card points to exchange for money at a high street jeweller (think its Mr G Smiths shop), getting our rings that way...

We were hoping to get our wedding rings for about £500. But we went ring shopping last week and fast discovered that like everything else wedding related, they are so expensive (and we've got expensive taste :-/) So it's probably more looking like £1000 :-/ but my reasoning is, we'll be wearing them for the rest of our lives..still painful to part with so much money though x

OH's ring (6mm heavy-weight palladium band with matt finish) is costing £365; not sure yet what mine will be, but I think probably around £900-1000 (custom-made platinum and diamond band). Also getting my e-ring re-made in platinum, again not sure but think it'll be around £1500. So, £1265-1365 for our wedding bands, and about £2800 in total.

We paid £1400 for both of ours and that was back in 2010, before the prices started to go up. I've got a 2mm bespoke platinum wide-set curved wishbone with 4 diamonds either side of the curve and hubby has a 6mm bevelled edge in palladium. The list price was actually a lot higher and should have been £2164 in total!
However, because we paid the deposit in Dec 2010 but paid the balance in June 2011, the price on the valuation certificate is a lot more. I also suspect that if we had them valued again today, then they would cost even more as the prices have risen even more since then.

Oh what, I didnt know you could do that, how do you go about using the club card points?! we must have bleedin' loads as well......

As for the budget, Tom really isn't ar$ed in the slightest as long as it's half decent, so i can't imagine we'll have to budget all that much for it, and if we have enough club cards points even better

I already have mine as it was my grandmas so it's just his

We'll probably spend about £100 on rings. We both want plain bands so don't see the need in spending a lot of money on them

Gold is constantly increasing so I would recommend ordering ASAP. If you do want something fancy then the kissing company offer an interest free instalment plan

Ours were really good bargains. His only cost around £30 as he didn't want a gold band. It's tungsten with a carbon fibre inlay in black and blue. It's really nice. Mine is costing around £70. It's silver with a gold crossover ring bit. Hard to explain but I'll put the link on my wall if you wana nosy lol x

Mine is £275 H2B's is £425 mine is a bit more detailed than his but he has large fingers and is getting an 8mm band so his will weigh a lot more and we went through the kissing company who do they're pricing on weight.

4th April 2014 - I get married to my soul mate
