What is the function of the bride's handbag? I really don't want to be carrying a bag and have never seen anyone with one in photos!

I'm having a small vial of my perfume in it & my lipstick too & yes a whole bunch of hankies LOL, though I have thought about getting a pretty embroidered one & I did think about keeping Adam's ring in it at first but I think we give it to the Officiator straight away or the BM holds it for me..not sure yet LOL

Haha CeCe you've got the right idea! I'm staying at the hotel that my reception is being held at so I'll have stuff in my room. But i'll probably get a little bag and get a family member to look after during the ceremony. Got to have lippy, camera and ciggys...essentials lol x

Good thinking never thought about the glue, one more thing to worry about...argh!

Yep that's exactly what I'd be doing except I've been put on a drinking ban untill the end of the night, I tend to go from sober to hammered in 0-60 secs x

...ooh I was thinking about going down the semi permanant eyelash route too!

I (stupidly) had an eyelash malfunction at my 4oth birthday party..I used Superglue to wham 'em back on! Worked a treat too!

*PLEASE DO NOT USE SUPERGLUE TO GLUE ON EYELASHES!*

My OH used superglue to fix himself when he slipped with his penknife when we were camping and sliced deeply into his finger. He claims it was developed for binding skin - not sure how true that is..

Ah right CeCe, that's where he got it from! He would have joined the army I think, but his eyesight's too bad. So he plays geeky toy soldier games instead :)

I am thinking of getting a dolly bag for myself and my bridesmaid so that I can carry a wee bit of make up with me for touch ups, a nail file incase I break a nail, tissues, medication and a compact mirror. Also instead of wearing my grannys watch I was thinking of carrying that also in my bag. And if I am unluckily on my period at the wedding time I would need a bag for the pads, etc. x
