    Hi all,

This is probably a bit of a silly question but I just need you lovely folks on Ukbride to reassure me as you are always so good at doing...

I've booked two appointments to see two different florists on the same afternoon. One at 2.30 and one at 4pm, they are 15 mins drive apart

    a) do you think that is enough time between them ?
    b) I feel really guilty because in telling them both over email what sort of thing i'd like they've both sounded excited and talked about making sure they have the sort of flowers i'd like in stock. It is ok to see more than one florist? Will they be funny with me if I see them and say i'm going away to think about it or do I have to say there and then whether I want to go with them? Do they expect people to go around a few places before they commit to it?

    Thanks all.

P.s. Hope you're all well - i haven't been on hardly at all this last week! x

I think it'll be plenty of time. I also think that thy should expect you to shop around, everyone who i have dealt with e.g photographers, cake makers, suit people have been more than happy to meet and chat and give a quote and a lot have acually told me to shop around to make sure i get what i want! x

Personally I haven't much experience with florists as am doing artificial flowers, however they wouldn't expect you to decide there and then whether you want to choose them, they'll know it's your wedding and you want to make sure you're getting exactly what you're looking for! I couldn't tell you to be honest if that's enough time between them, I would imagine so, but never been to them so wouldn't know what's involved or how long they take. Don't be afraid to tell them though that you have another booking to make sure you're getting your right choice, most people have multiple bookings to compare between them, so they'll be used to it :-) You could say something like you are very interested in them, you like what they've shown you and they've been very helpful, you just have to have a think about it before you decide for definite, but you'll be in contact soon if you want to choose those ones. xxx they wouldn't be funny with you, they're there to help you and look after you, they want your business xxx
