Yeah, the beginnings of my centre-pieces have arrived. 18 fish bowls (acrylic so child friendly)
We're having mirrored plates with a few scatter crystals, fish bowl on top with fairy lights (and some organza in the bottom to hide battery pack) Can't wait to have a play putting them together. In my mind they will look awesome in the evening. Total cost will be £9 per table, but hopefully we can sell a few bits on and get a little money back.
Anyone else having them? what are you doing to decorate them?

I will do, I'm glad we've started ordering bits early enough in case something goes wrong. Where I'm going to store it all I'm not sure though.

I'm having fish bowls but I hired mine from where I'm getting my flowers from because they're going to make up the bowls for me as well, if they didn't do the bowls then obviously I would have sorted it myself and would of been sat there making them up which I wouldn't mind.

oo lovely! I wasn't a fan of them until we went to a friends wedding and they looked beautiful! so simple yet elegant. Our centre pieces come with the venue but we're having the really tall, thin vases with the flowers at the top, mirror plates and candles.. possibly a couple of the lil gems for the tables, but we don't want too much on the table! xx

We're having the fish bowls on the tables and then either side of the top table we've got huge martini glasses with a bouquet thing in there.

i like fishbowls, but my dad is having the at his wedding in august, were not sure what were having yet, i like candelabras, but also like teapots and jugs with flowers in, my friend is offering me all her martini glasses, flowers mirror plates and crytals for a fantastic price, just trying to decide if its what i want x x

We have gone for fishbowls and mirrors.
We (and by we I mean I lol) will be putting them together. We have gone for purple and white sand with a purple silk gerbera with purple mesh butterflies and purple gems. I have a pic in my table decs album.

give them to your florist. they are creative with stuff like that all the time and they will take them to the venue and set them up for you... easy...no stress x
