I think the bit I'm most worried about is either walking down the aisle and falling and everyone laughing at me or when my dad hands me over to my hubby....what about everyone else?

Feeling so nervous that I actually feel sick with a stomach cramp cos extreme nerves do that to me, walking down the aisle and getting stage fright, not being able to say the vows properly cos I'm so nervous and crying! I'm gonna be a wreck on my wedding day I think! So embarrassing!

I'm not to worried about photos ow as we picked a guy that does candid shots so not much posing to be done. The vows worry me a bit but the vicar said that as long as he and hubby can hear it it's all good :)

I am also worried about forgetting something!! Like my shoes or bridesmaid gifts etc. 2 years away and i/m stressed already!!!

Photos - because I hate having my picture taken, I don't know how to smile in photos lol. Vows - As I said in a previous thread that I can't say big words very well and being nervous isn't going to help Tripping/falling - I'll be concentrating on not tripping or falling down the aisle! First Dance - I really don't know how to dance especially with a slow song and everyone watching!
CommentAuthorMrsC
Photo's, 1, I dont like being photographed and 2 what if they come out crap and I have no lovely pictures of our day???!!!
The first dance has me nervous as I am an awful dancer, I'm just hoping seeing as everyone else knows that it shouldn't be a shock if I balls it up lol

Sussie, I'm the same. I have a gap near the back of my mouth, I thought it was concealed but recently I've noticed it in a couple of photos. I have asked my dentist about getting a bridge and she's said I'll need to wait til my next appt in April to start fitting it and I'm worried that it's not going to happen and I'll have to do closed mouth smiles all day.
I can't wait until 29/06/2013
The day I marry the man of my dreams!
CommentAuthorFitchMcCombe
not nerves as such but my main worry would be a stiff atmosphere since our top priority is to have a fun celebration with out family and friends, but hopefully with some good entertainment, food and drinks, the right mood will flow!

Honestly the only bit worrying me is PAYING for everything! lol The actual day walking down the isle seeing my man waiting for me, even taking photos I can't wait for because it means FINALLY I get to marry my man :-)

The dress not fitting on the day and spilling anything on the dress seams to be a recuring nightmare atm. But most importantly I'm worried that h2b won't enjoy the day he hates fuss, being the centre of attention and having his pictures taken! eeekkkk
CommentAuthorPoppy x
The whole thing from start to finish..? We're having a handfasting as it will incorporate both our faiths, but there is no aisle to walk down, and lots of things to say along the way, writing our own vows, and dancing from his culture... And all eyes on us. I felt sick the whole day of our engagement and it took some of the enjoyment out of it (although we only spent it with another couple, and ended up clubbing ha) - I pray that I can relax on the day.
CommentAuthorRachaelC80
Have you ever thought, what if H2B, doesn't like your dress??? :-/ That's what freaks me out!!! He also hates me with make up, as he says I'm beautiful without it :-) So, I'm panicking about how little if any should I wear??!!!
Any ideas ladies??!!
CommentAuthorPoppy x
I never wear make-up, so going for natural(ish!). As for the dress, he can like it or lump it ha! He knows that it may be a little... unconventional?... but if he can laugh off my multi-coloured hair, he can deal with what I'll be wearing :) Mind you, the whole concept of the entire day will be new to him, so what I look like is actually not that much of a fear.
CommentAuthorSaraA20
I'm worried about the whole eyes on me part! once i've got the vows and the walking down the aisle bit done i think i will be fine. this it will the be time for the oh to be nervous - he is dreading the speech! x
CommentAuthorLindaC29
I hate having my photo taken,I usually make sure I am out of camera view, but will have hope I can manage on the day,my OH knows what I am like,he's a photographer ,I hate being centre of attention,so I will have just keep smiling,I'm quite calm about it all now,but probably be a wreck on the morning lol when I got married the first time it was the vows, I was terrified I would say it all wrong, but it went ok.
CommentAuthorFitchMcCombe
Poppy i'm so with you lol we're thinking about having a handfasting because we like the ceremonial aspect (we're both atheist) and are planning to tap into our Celtic roots as much as we can (i'm from the highlands and he's from n.ireland). also i don't intend to wear any make up because i don't normally and i can think of nothing worse than not being true to who i am on the day i marry him :) i do sometimes worry that he wont like the dress i choose - especially when we watch don't tell the bride lol - but i know he thinks i look beautiful no matter what so as long as i feel comfortable and confident i'm sure he'll love me in it!
CommentAuthorPoppy x
Oh cool! I figure it'll be the best way to put 'us' into the ceremony, and pay hommage to our ancestors, whilst satisfying both our faiths (I'm Pagan, he's Muslim). Not all of our family will be able to be there by any means, so we will honour them the best we can and just have a ball with any luck!! I am kinda relieved that 'Don't Tell The Bride' doesn't get aired where he is muahahaha!! Got a lot of work to do, but will get there :)) Are you writing your own vows too?
CommentAuthorDawnK21
I think I'm just worrying about pulling the whole thing off. Is it all going to look ok? Am I going to make all the right choices or am I going to look back on the photos regretting what I chose? Also people enjoying themselves.
But then I am a born worrier, and I think I will worry about everything at least once!
CommentAuthorSianyCaitlin
I'm dreading that I'll forget something really important or that H2B will have a few too many the night before & be late or sleep straight through & not turn up !! I know deep down he wouldn't but I'm just a worrier lol xx

Crying all day!!! I know i will cry when im saying my vows (writing them ourselves), when i hear his vows, my sisters reading, his dads reading, his speech, dads speech and if (when) my dad cries- that will set me off. So nothing really other than crying and ruining my make up- at least 17 times!!!
CommentAuthor~Tigerlili~
Spending the whole day in tears because my dad isn't there (passed away when I was 19, never met h2b or our son). Swearing in the middle of the ceremony if I get tongue tied!

poppy we will be writing our own vows! we both have english degrees so will also be having a few readings, prose and verse since im a lover of poetry :)
CommentAuthorLauraB437
I am nervous about the whole thing, but the parts I am dreading most are:-
1) the whole ceremony as hate being centre of attention!! 2) having my photo taken and looking utterly awful - hate having my photo taken and not very photogenic so really worried about this 3) my oh not liking my dress - as never chose clothes without him so really wanted him to come pick it with me but he refused saying it wasn't traditional
Among other things!!!!
CommentAuthorPoppy x
Oh wow Lauren, that sounds lovely :)) I'm dreading the vows bit, but figure it'll just come from the heart nearer the time. I hope!
For all the worriers out there - breathe, it will all be fine ;)
