I'm going to my first wedding fair today.... And I'm rather looking forward to it. Not really sure what I'm going for though as I have a venue and dress! But hey it's a nice day out and I get a goody bag!

It's good for ideas and advice, you might find a dress you like as well because some dress shops have on display on a rack some of there dresses. I found a beautiful dress I'm trying on next week at the fashion show of a wedding fayre! plus i like the freebies lol.

When I went to my first one I came back too overwhelmed and really stressed out... the trick is to just browse but each time you go to a fair, rather than concentrating on everything like i stupidly did, still look at everything but go with a particular thing you need to do in mind.... when i did this in the future it really helped me. Good luck.

We've hopefully got our suits at 20% off so I suppose that wasn't too bad, forgot about that! And there's a price increase in feb,oct and feb next year so we're paying a deposit next week to secure how's prices x

I was really disappointed with the fair. i found it very small and they were pushy not what i thought. plus a freeby bag was rubbish. i will try others just hoping that it was just there was bad.

The one i went to didnt have a cat walk showing dresses that would have been good. ill look around for some others.

There are good fairs and bad fairs. We went to one near where we live and it was brilliant! However a month later we went to one near our wedding venue and it was absolutely awful. We were so glad we went to the first one! It's completely pot luck what the fair will be like!

Yeah, i just felt really self consious cos i couldnt even look at stalls without being compleelty jumped on. Didnt find it enjoyable. x
