Hi everyone! I'm a soon to be bride and I am really happy about this. Now, we are in the stage of planning. My fiancée and I are thinking of the wedding them that is good for our special day. We want something which is outdoor. Hope you can give you idea guys! Thanks a lot! ^_^
And by the way, our wedding will be September of 2013. If this will help. Thanks.

tbh hun i think you need to discuss this with you fiancee and see if there is some theme you two can come up with ......also consider the fact that you dont have to have a theme at all .
no one can put helpful links on your wall as you have it restricted
You don't need to have a theme. I think a lot of the time, if you just start planning without a theme, a theme will probably develop.
For example we don't have a theme, but as we started putting it all together, it became clear that everything was sparkly/bling so to me that seems like our theme now as it ties everything together. We didn't plan it, but it's just very 'me' and i think your personality shines through your choices
The greatest thing you'll ever learn
is just to love and be loved in return

I've seen a few outdoor weddings do a lot of bunting type themes with Pom poms and tea pots, kid of like afternoon tea but you can still have a wedding meal, and incorporate lots of fresh outdoorsy flowers xx

i think you need to start with your hobbies and interests and work from there, if you are both outdoorsy types, what are you into and take it from there, if you like long walks and picnics, you could follow something like that with hampers and tea partyesque things, tea pots and victoria sponges and picnic blankets
Actually, Kelbels post pretty much sums that up for me, 'cept tea party probably sounds better than picnic hahaha
If you have dogs and you like long walks, you can name your tables after your favourite pooches etc? Or name them after trees or other wildlifey kinda stuff
its hard to give people theme ideas when you dont really know their personalities and what they are into
Wibbly wobbly, timey wimey

Someone in a wedding magazine that was outdoorsy, had an old rustic bike theme with penny farthings(rusty ones) with flowers decorating them and that sort of theme running throughout with lots of draping ivy and little flowers, hanging baskets (huge ones) from the ceiling inside the venue x

We are getting married in a barn, my dress is lace, so I'm going with a vintage lace theme.

village fete or country garden party are popular themes. Both are really lovely and would be easy to bring together on a large or small scale.

I wouldn't worry too much about having a theme for your wedding - it isn't necessity. Most people start with a colour scheme and work their way from there. Also, I don't know if the law has changed - but I'm sure in England you can't actually get married outdoors as such (has to be a indoors or maybe marquee in registered premises) - although there's no law stopping you doing this in Scotland.

Thank you all for the the warm welcome and hearing my problems! I really need some words from you guys. :)
By the way, my fiancée and I's initial choice for our wedding theme is a Polynesian Themed Wedding. We really love this one and seen number of weddings with this theme. But we still not sure about this. What do you think guys? Is this a good idea?

That sounds lovely!
H2b wanted a clockwork orange theme wedding....
I actually quite like the idea for a party, but don't think it's quite appropriate for a wedding...

We really love this theme. But not yet sure about this. What do you think are the pros and cons of this kind of theme? And what are the things that we need to have (decorations, foods, place) to have this Polynesian Themed Wedding? Hope you can help me with this.
