I really don't know what to do!! My invitations are going to print at the weekend and we need to decide on a gift list. It would be amazing to get money from everyone but feel so rude putting that on the invitations and hate these tacky poems!! Is asking for vouchers any better? Just so you get the full picture, we are saving to buy our first home together, so vouchers could make our house a home?!

We enclosed a poem with our invites, rsvp's and menus - and it was just explaining that we'd been together for a long time, and therefore had most things so we were asking for money or honeymoon vouchers instead. Nobody thought it was tacky and 99% of our gifts were money.
