    Hi Ladies
So I spoke to the lady who does the flowers at the Church we're getting married at and she said that because she doesn't have the help she used to have she does a standard package of two large arrangements on pedestals, two vases of flowers on the top altar and two vases on the lower altar in our wedding colour scheme. She said that it's a set price of £100.

If we want to do anything on the pew ends (I'm not sure I want to - if I do it'll be bows) that we can come and do them ourselves.

What do you think? It's such a beautiful old church anyway so don't want to overdo it.

    Is this a good price?

    xx

I would say that sounds like enough for a church, especially if it's already beautiful on it's own. Sounds like a good price too! x

Thanks ladies. My sister wasn't sure as she doesn't know what they should cost. Any ladies care to share what they're having to decordate their church and how much it's costing?
Wondering if i can do a comparison xx

I aren't having a church but we are having bows on the ends of our rows of chairs and then we are having this draped flower thing around the front and down one side of the table we sign stuff on, that's costing us £50 on it's own so I think you have a very good deal :) x

If that's for real flowers then I would say its a very good deal hun! I've known people pay £100 for one pedestal arrangement! xxx

That sounds like a well good deal hun :-) and i agree if the church is beautiful you dont want to over do it, our church is very beautiful and its the oldest church in our town, i'm just having flowers on where you sign the register and bows on the pew ends. but maybe if i was given a price like that i might be persuaded to have more lol x

I think that sounds great - the pedestals themselves can cost more than that! Xx

Oooh really, if pedestals are really that expensive then thanks, yes, sounds like £100 for the whole package does sound like an amazing price.

My Dad thinks it's enough flowers as the Church is so beautiful, he doesn't think we should overdo it.

So pleased, means can afford to donate more to the Church.

Sounds great, and the price is amazing for all those flowers! We're not having any church flowers at all as the church is so ornate inside.

I don't think you need more than that at all xx

sounds good we didn't have any extra flowers in the church the normal church flower ladies done them like they do every week and we didn't notice not having extra.

We're getting flowers included in the price of the church, but I'm unsure of what you get with this, I love the ribbons on the ends of the rows of chairs as our church has chairs not pews. Sounds like a good price though :)

    Thanks ladies.
What I love too is that she does the flowers for the Church anyway so the Parish Priest will be happy with whatever she does any not be disrespectful gettings dirt all over the altar which apparently some florists do!
She said that she will just need payment of the £100 a month before the wedding so she can order the fresh flowers in our colours.

    Very happy with this :D
