Hi All, i need your help, do you think this is a good idea or just cheesy and going over the top.? Well i'm the last one out of a large group of friends to get married, which is fine but they have all gone on and had a load of kids!!! like 3/4 each.. So now im inviting the kids to the wedding (as they invited me and my daughter to thiers) which means i have over 25 kids aged between 6 months anf 10 Ok so weddings are boring for kids so i was going to get santa to pop in and keep them quite (im getting married in december) my worry is i feel like im organising an expensive kids party and not a wedding. do you think santa turning up would be cheesy? or keep it more formal?

I think it is a nice idea. If you were getting married in June it would be different but I think that it would be really nice for them and would add a bit of difference to your day xx

It is a nice idea, if you keep it simple and nice, and dont turn it into an expensive kids party! with that many kids it is a lovely idea and adds a bit of something different to the day :) xx

Do you have to hire a Santa or could you just ask a relative to dress up be Santa just to keep the cost down. Remember Santa should have 25 presents with him but you can get cheap toys or activity books or something.

Or you could get h2b to don the Santa outfit then you could get a kiss from Santa on your wedding day :-)

in my honest opinion I am not sure about this. I can see why its a good idea for the kids but it is a wedding too at the end of the day. I dont know. Maybe im too traditional but its not something I would do because as you said, you dont want to turn your wedding into a kids party. Is there another way to keep them entertained in a non cheesy way that would appeal to all ages? This is just my opinion and good luck.

I'd maybe do it in the 'lull' between the day do and evening do, if you're having one, which is usually the most boring time for kids xx
