I wont be the first person to have this idea but i wanted to share!!

Just been having the usual "the wedding is soo long away, I don't know what to do or how to make the time go by quicker - i feel silly planning things so far in advance!!" rant and moan to my MOH...
she gave me the most brilliant idea that seems so simple now I think about it!!

I have divided all of the things I need to do into the next 21 months, so I can focus my mind one on thing at a time and spread the planning over the LOOOOONG time until the wedding.

I already feel a lot less overwhelmed and like maybe it isn't too far away after all!! tehe

    This month's task is:
Confirm and book venue and church
    Next month:
Confirm and book the band (and deal with Christmas!!)

    yays xxxx

Haha when you start paying loads out, it would have come to your mind! Definitely came to mine when everyone wanted deposits and you end up spending loads each month! Now we have one deposit a month and all the things already booked on a monthly direct debit. spreads the cost, gets things paid off and makes you feel like you are achieving things! xx

I know how you feel! We have around 18 months to wait -- not even sure as we are yet to check dates with church/venues and just an idea of when we want our day to be --- can not wait to actually book the date!!

So yes, for me, this month is book the church and venue!

That will be it for us though until the expense of Christmas is out the way!

It's a great idea, that's what I did as mine was the other way round and I had 8 months to start planning so needed to get the most important things booked first. Nearly done booking things now x x

Its a good idea, I use the calendar on UKB too to add things to my to-do list. Always handy to have extra reminders I think.
    Plus I'm a sucker for lists :)
