Wedding Forum - Red and green...

Originally when I was picking my colour scheme h2b was going to wear a kilt with a touch of green in it. As I am having an autumn wedding I thought emerald green would go nicely.

He has now chosen a kilt with green as the main colour with touches of scarlet red and yellow. The suit hire place have advised him to go for a red cravat as green would be overkill - and I do see their point.

I know my colour scheme doesn't have to match the kilt but I really wanted it to. I am not keen on having red dresses so though of sticking to my green and have a red tied belt. My concern is will my BMs end up looking like christmas trees?

Ooh that is a good idea, thought the yellow would look a bit summery on its own but yes may work well with the green. THanks Amy x

Yes Green and Gold/Yellow would be good ...not sure about Green and Red,i am sure it would look nice but i remember my Nana used to say 'red and green should never be seen except upon a fool'! xxx

Me too, red and green should never be seen, except on the back of a fairy queen...

I quite like it for a Christmas wedding, over wise I do thing the first thing everyone will think of is Christmas.
