Wedding Forum - Late update...

Afternoon Ladies I have been meaning to come on here and do a little write up about our day for a while but things kept popping up. So here it is and sorry for the delay !
The morning of W day started at 8am with make up lady knocking on the door, closely folowed by MOH and 2 flowergirls. and then at 9am MOG arrived to have her hair & makeup done. 9.30am Hairdresser arrived. 10am 2 more bridesmaids arrived (one of which is my hubbys neice who was able to attend the wedding after falling out of a tree 3 days before she had to undergo surgery on her arm to pin it back together and we didn't know until the day if she could make it) 10.30am flowers arrived. 11am best man came to get buttonholes and drop of our lunch order (my front door was beining opened almost every 30 minutes) Everything was going to plan and we were all quite calm with an under current of excitment helped along by some champs. 11.30 we all had lunch and at 12 we had a bit of a panick about trying to get all the girls into there dresses in time. maybe i shouldn't of gone for lace up backs on everyone but it all worked out fine and everyone was ready in time. At 12.30 photographers arrived and it was time to get me into my dress thats when i felt this is becoming real moment !! my SIL gave me a gift from hubby at this point and i just felt so special standing in my beautiful dress and putting the earings in that he gave me i was on top of the world. At 1pm first horse and carriage trip was done for MOH 2 flowergirls & 1 bridesmaid and MOG that just left me with my daughter 1 bridesmaid and another close friend of mine waiting for our turn this is when butterflys kicked in a bit more but soon enough it was our turn and i actually got to the church 5 minutes early and everyone was standing outside still (i am not a very punctual person so i supprised a few people ) the service went in a blink of an eye but we both managed to keep it together no crying or uncontrollable laughing. after the service we had a few photos then of to reception which in a horse & carriage took a while, which was great as we new once we got there we wouldn't have much time to ourselves. Once we got there we had more photos then went in for the speeches and cutting of the cake (we served our cake as dessert so we had to cut it early to allow them to plate it up) we then had the sit down meal all of which was fantastic our first magician arrived 6pm to performe close up table magic he went down realy well with our guests. at 7pm we had the childrens magician arrived who kept 20 odd kids very happy through out the night and gave parents a little break at 7.30pm we asked our guest to come out side and light some sky lanterns with us whilst the room was being cleaned and changed round for the disco we let of about 20 lanterns which was a lovely sight to see just so happy it didn't rain on our day and it wasn't to windy as we wouldn't off been able to do this. after the lanterns it was back inside for the casino, disco and more magic.
We had our first dance / shuffle at 8.30pm which i was not looking forward to but it went well. Unfortunatly when people say your wedding day goes by really quickly they are not joking before we knew it the night had flown by and it was 12pm and time for everyone to go home.
