Ok well, ive now got my dress and when I went to try it on,the lady told me id be best not to wear a bra under it as it is strapless and corseted. BUT i really want (pardon for the graphic detail) a FULL looking bust. Im not too huge in the boobs dept (a C) but id like to have a little more than what not wearing a bra would give. So im wondering ladies,if anyone has any idea of a really good strapless bra that 'lifts' your boobs up at the same time as giving support!

I'm the same, the dress I want is strapless and corseted. I wouldn't feel comfy not wearing a bra xx

Mine was corsetted and strapless but I still wanted to wear a bra......
I got the wonderbra ivory lace as jackieFC mentioned....its gorgeous and holds perfectly, and I am a 36 E .....so it had its work cut out but it was great.

this is the one I got.....

What I like about the wonder bra one as well is its actually pretty and it comes down in a dip at the front so no risk of it being seen at all!

The wonderbra mention is FANTASTIC I love mine and will be wearing it on my day no matter how corseted my dress.

I brought it when i was BM and it did fab job and now I live it in teh summer under ann my little strap tops etc, its comfy and does the job and also i dont find i have to yank it up like most strapless bras.

I would say tho I would go try them on for size before buy as If remeber correctly I went down a size as when tried on my proper size it was to big and didnt support me enough for a strapless bra xxx

When I wear a dress where you can usually see the straps or even the back of my bra I have an old support bra (one with the pads attached to the under boob bit) that has all straps and back cut off so its just the cups. As long as your dress is done up tight it won't move and it's cheap. :)

I use those stick on bras you can now get them for next to nowt on bay of e, they provide some support, give a bit of cleavage and prevent the chapel hat peg effect

My dress is also strapless and corseted but it's 2 inches too big for me (I'm also a C) so the lady suggested I wear a very padded bra so I may not have to have it altered. I bought one from senza la which is a triple gel bra so gives a nice lift x x

Im having cups sewn in, but if it doesn't give me enough umph I will wear a strapless bra too, but tbh I was lucky and tried on my sample dress in the right size and fit perfectly and felt amazingly secure without a bra! Mine is sweetheart neckline so it did give me a nice cleavage x

As for a wonder bra never had one, but I think I'm gonna get one to see Wat all the fuss is about lol x I always buy mine from the shop named after a big bird with pretty feathers pe****ks!

Those who already have this, my BM is very top heavy.... was wondering are they as supportive and generous for those who are 'larger busted'... i don't have that issue unfortunately!!
She wants to wear strapless dress like my other bm but thinks she will have to have straps added to her dress as wants to wear bra so to hide straps, and says strapless bras don't do anything, but i quite like the pair of them to match (my 2 bms, not her chest :P) and dont want to pressure her into being uncomfortable...but mentioned this bra to her and her eyes lit up...
am i advising correctly?? she says she's an E, but reckon shes F +

    xx

M & S do a strapless bra - best I've ever had (though it almost needs a drawer by itself as it's pretty rigid) - it's in their big cup size section

i didn't want the corestry to sag in the middle so i had a strapless bra and she put some loops around the dress for my bra to sit in and they i could feel like i wasn't wearing one but i had a fuller looking area, if you don't want to wear one don't if you want to then go ahead just try not to get one thats too padded as you need to fit it underneath.

The wonderbra one is fab but they are redoing the style atm so i think the ivory one is discontinued but they are re-releasing it at some point. I got mine from the sale at Marks and sparks in the summer, got the bra, pants and garter that went with it for £18 so its worth shopping around, also try outlets as they have them reduced most of the time
