I'm going to start making our invitations soon but I'm not sure whether it's okay to use the same invitation for day invites and evening invites as long as the wording tells them which bit they are invited to? Or do I need different invitations or the invitations to say "evening invitation" on the front? I'm confused lol any help? Xxx

I personally don't like invitations that say wedding invitation or evening invitation on the front. They remind me too much of kids party invitations (You're invited to a Birthday!!!). I'm planning to have two different invitations so I can save money on the evening invites. As long as the wording is clear I don't see any reason not to use the same style of invitation for both.

We put wedding invitation and evening invitation on the front of ours just so there was no confusion to the guest what exactly they've been invited to.

I will be putting evening invitation on the ones for the evening. why make a big song and dance about it, its what they are invited to.. lol cant see why anyone would have a problem with it xxxxx

I have put wedding invitation and evening invitation on mine, they are exactly the same only the wording is different x x
I personally have separate invitations for both to avoid any confusion, the last thing i'd want is people turning up to the day do uninvited! I have evening invitation and wedding invitation on the front xx

Ours are the same on the front, they are cheque book style with 3 pages though so we've just changed the first page from day to evening invitation xx

Mine are the same expect the wording is different. I'm just assuming that the guests will read them and pay attention to the time. Hopefully if they read 7.00pm they wont show up at 1.30 ! lol

Im planning on doing completely different evening invites to the day ones.. Im having pocketfolds for the day and prob just have standard card style for the evening.. xx
