I actually quite like this and think for those who haven't booked a photographer yet (like me although I have 2 in mind lol) it will save them a load of leg work, sending emails etc! I think it's a great idea! Something I would have definitely used when planning our blessing/reception back here. As it turns out, I did get our DJ through this site (they gave us a pretty hefty discount for being a member, I seem to recall ;)) but they were the only company I contacted - would have been great to have other companies to compare to (and to see just how much we saved LOL)!

We have over 500 photographers UK wide on the Quote Me Scheme!!!
You tell us what you are looking for, and we'll send your requirements to photographers in your chosen radius from your postcode, 5, 10, 15, 25, 50, 75, 100 miles radius and Nationwide. The larger the radius the more quotes you receive, photographers won't quote you if you are too far away and they're not prepared to travel.
When you receive the quotes we list them in order, cheapest first, in your new 'QuoteMe Quotes' button on your home page. we'll email you too to let you know you have new quotes. Cheapest isn't always the best of course, the photographers have been told to write back to you personally (as opposed to copying and pasting basic information).
If the scheme works we will be rolling out for all services!!!
We've launched this because so many brides ask 'do you know where I can get x for x price' - the best way to answer this is to ask our thousands of suppliers!
Get your quotes in ladies, it only takes two mins and could save you a packet or you could find 'the one'!!!

Currently only wedding photographers on UKbride can quote. Our photographers don't pay for this service. We are going to roll out phase 2 soon and invite ALL wedding photographers in the UK to quote... They'll have to pay UKB to quote (or become advertisers)!
If the system works well for everyone we start rolling it out for all services!
This is a great service for anyone who doesn't have their photographer yet as I spend a couple of days researching photographers, getting a long list down to a short list to contact for quotes and meeting them. This will save all that initial leg work.
