Would you haggle the price of bridesmaid dresses if you were thinking of buying 6 dresses at £182 each? My budget was £100 a dress maybe less but I've just found the most gorgeous Ebony Rose dresses and my bridesmaids looked stunning in them this weekend, nothing even comes close now, but do I ask for a discount on buying 6 of them or is that tacky?

if yoiu don't try you won't know if you could have got a discount. i say go for it!! let us know what happens xx
Haggle away- what's the worst that can happen? They say no, and you pay the money. But buying 6 at that price I'm sure thay would swing you a bit of discount- even if they only round it down to £1k (which would be less than 10%). Go for it. :)

You wo't know unless you try... Are you getting your dress there as well? Or you could try for something thrown in for free like a flowergirl dress or shoes.

I know it's a silly question, looks like I can't think for myself half the time, but alot of girls here have got a few more months experience in this wedding madness, be cool if someone has done it and could let me know. I will let you know Magsy what happens...fingers crossed x

I'd love to get my dress from there Dove but they said they wont get it in in time, so I've gone to china for that, so can't even go there with a package on all the dresses :o(

I asked for a discount on mine but didnt get anywhere. I spent bloody £580 quid with them and they wouldnt give me any discount. They said if i was buying 4 they would but coz I only brought 3 I couldnt get a discount. Its worth a try though. The worst they can say is no, like they did to me, lol
I am now Mrs Stacey Stiles and loving it!

Can you not find them cheaper online now you no what your after?
CommentAuthorKizzy81
Yes - I'd just say that you're having 6 and it's well over your budget. 6 is more than most people have, so I'd be surprised if they didn't offer at least 10% off.

Go for it .. they can't lose! x

I know with a lot of stores they buy in and charge what they think is right. So I'll give it a go tomorrow. Seeing as I've bought my dress from China off ebay for £97 I think £182 for each of 6 bridesmaid dresses is alot lol but they did look good in them....arrrgghhh!!! dilema or what, might have to go in and plead poverty!

6 dresses @ £182 a pop ..damn right I would haggle!!!
CommentAuthorDiana89
I don't see the problem in asking, it's not like they'll charge you any more for them, may I suggest going in and asking then saying you'll think about it and walk away, then go back in a few days? I would reccomend looking elsewhere for them though. You're dress was an absolute bargain. Good luck x

I wouldn't get a choice if Colin was there... honestly he's like (what I nickname to him lol) a pikey haha everywhere we go he tries to bargain with prices.
Went to the florist on Saturday for flowers for our mum's and he was proper bartering with them for the prices. It's embarressing sometimes lol but he's saved us a few pennies here and there.
Id defo try bargain with them, end of they day they want your custom, and like people have already said, you never know til you try - you got nowt to lose!

I haggle with everything and it usually works, everything is so overpriced as soon as the word "wedding" is mentioned so go for it. Debs x
