Some of you will remember that our chair cover company have gone bust and ran off with my money - luckily only £50 deposit but still annoying and upset me. Anyway we went off to see a new chair cover and decoration company yesterday and feel in love wit them. Originally we were paying £260 for 80 chair covers, 8 table decorations and this was a bargain.... Obviously not a bargain as ran off. So we meet a new company on Saturday and doing 80 chair covers, plus all table decorations and having massive candelabras as big high ceilings.... So excited as looked beautiful but £200 over budget. I didn't want to do any decorating myself as not into DIY and want someone else to create the wow factor so a complete surprise for me. Anyway we decided just to save a bit harder for the difference but mum offered to pay.... I didn't ask But she said she wanted too as apparently she doesn't feel she is paying for a lot, bless her!

Sorry that the company ran off with your money, but glad you found someone else and its lovely that your mum is offering to pay. So excting, im still looking for a chair covering company. But im sure when we find one if they are good i will save extra hard to pay the extra if they are more x x

oooo yey... I love that look. I had huge white centre pieces in tall vases as my hubby didnt want candelabras (grrrr because I really did) so I had to just go for tall, big, and white... classy and elegant like you say. Oooooo cant wait to see them x

I didn't want candelabras either but when I saw them I changed my mind as look good so maybe show him some on a table done up? Our venue is a big Edwardian hotel with massive high ceilings and a big room so advised to take that into account and needed grandeur on the tales too but height xxx

oh we already got married hun haha.... we ended up in a similar style venue hence we had to get huge vases and big flowers if we didnt get candelabras so I cant wait to see what you get up to :) Sounds like similar tastes :) If you want I can bump some photies for you but not sure if theres much on our table flowers in the piccy post. I have added extra flower pics for you but they are on the end... I have bumped the thread too. Try and get some good deals on flowers as I dont know how much yours are, but for what we had it was about £1300-1400. Not sure on final figure as his mum did a few extra bits with the confetti basket etc. I forgot I was allowed two candelabras for either end of the top table but other than they he wasnt having them so I partly won.
