Thankyou for all your kind words.and 'Hails' Thanks but this is the 6th time!!! I no I no...I hear you all shouting at me! The first few were early and at beginning of his 'time out' of jws so he was very confused etc.The last time and this have been so hard,he fought to get me back the time before last and this time he showed loads of emotion and couldnt keep away from me..we just drifted back together.He told me things were different because the engagement meant something more.It was for keeps this time.I believed him.
Dont think I could ever trust him again after this even if I wanted to.That part of me is destroyed.xx

I know how u feel, my ex used to do 'disappearing' acts all the time, after a while i told him to sod off as i was not going through not knowing where he was or anything. I think he did it about 4 times in the year we was together. I didnt deal with it for long and no matter how much u love him you shouldnt either. give him an ultimatum. I did and now im with someone else and ive never been happier :) you will sort it out, just think of yourself rather than him xxx

I know it's hard hunni. But 6 times is 6 times too many. You can't feel like he is the only one good enough becos of your age, as if being forty odd is old! There is someone out there for you who will treat you the way u deserve! And I do know what you mean about being in a pharmacy, I also work in a pharmacy and I think I've had one normal guy walk In the whole three yrs I've been there lol. I'm not being funny but don't give up online. I've had many friends meet the right one there. You just managed to find one of the bad apples.

i found plenty of bad apples,in the ten years i was single after my marriage i mustve dated 30 guys...all pratts! the only one i went out with that that seemed to like me for me,i wasnt attracted to,there was no spark but he was a nice man and we met a few times as friends.this week i came across his picture on fb..hes married too.im glad he found someone. i thought tim was my soulmate,we had lots in common and he was everything i ever wanted or dreamed of in a man.dont know if ill ever find that again.x

I think you need to take a bit of time to heal but dont shut yourself away to the possablity of meeting someone new. I came out of a 5 yr relationship and was just moving on and enjoying being single and then I met my husband. He literally turned up on my doorstep!! I wasnt looking for another relationship it just happened. Just because you are 40 does not mean it's too late!!! keep your chin up, spend some time with your friends and family and just think youve had a lucky escape. He could of waited until after the wedding to walk out or even worse do it on the day.

40's are the new 30's so don't think you are past it, plus I've just had a look at your profile pic and you look gorgeous so there is no reason for you to feel you can't get out there and meet someone. Start an evening class or join a gym, something to get you out there. You won't necessarily meet men but you can make a new social circle to broaden your horizons. Right now though you have to deal with your heartbreak. This man has hurt you time and time again, I hope he finds himself this time and leaves you alone because you deserve better than that and finally it's sunk in with you and you know you're worth more. Stay strong and stick to your guns, you won't be on your own for long. x

I have decided to tell him he needs to reimburse me for all the money Ive spent on our non existant wedding.After all,HE cancelled it so he can pay me back for all that 'I' paid.there is £1000 on lost deposits,700 on dresses,about 1300 on reception decorations,favours,theme,accessories and stationary stuff!! He paid the £1000 for the venue deposit(think we may get 700 back) but I paid rest!I think at the very least,he can pay me back!
