My fiance and I are getting married next July. We have bought him a gorgeous blue suit from Reiss called 'Denton'. We originally saw it on the website but when we went to buy it we found out there were only a few in his size left in the country! And there were no waistcoats left in any size! So we couldn't even buy a big one and have it adjusted. Now we either need to find someone willing to sell their waistcoat, or find matching fabric and have one made. I wouldn't even know here to begin with doing this. Can anyone help please? We live in Surrey.

hi, have you tried the big department shops, like HOFraser, Debhams, Fen-x? they usually have a lot of wedding attire that you can buy separately, maybe you can find something that matches?
failing that, we have a craft supplies shop in newcastle (not sure about anywhere in surrey) that can match material to anything we take in. you could search around for one of those and a local seamstress? shouldn't be too expensive. x

A lot of grooms have a coloured/ivory waistcoat instead of matching which may be an option if you get stuck. Second hand sites such as bay of e and pr*loved might also be worth keeping an eye on.

Since your husband will be saying his vows and not closing the deal on a multimillion dollar transaction I think he'll be more than fine with a contrasting waistcoat. Matching 3 piece business suits screams banker. A contrasting waistcoat suggests bridal. The waistcoat doesn't have to match the groomsmen. Ivory as Alex suggested would be lovely.

Definitely go with a coloured waistcoat. You'll drive yourself insane trying to get the perfect match.

I think a different coloured waist coat would look lovely and you wont have the added stress of trying to find something to match x x
