Hi. I am considering having a pink and black colour theme for my wedding but I dont know whether black has really got that wedding feel about it. I do associate weddings with bright colours. My wedding will be in the summer so I dont know whether black will look a little funny. I do love all the black stationary and the look of the black chair sashes etc but I am worried people are going to think its a little odd especially in the summer xx

My cousin got married last June and they had black and the bright pink. They had a marquee and put tons of fairy lights on the ceiling, down the poles and on big coloum trees. It looked really pretty and made it look brighter xx

My sister got married last July and her theme was black and champagne. It looked beautiful. Very classy and elegant. My profile pic is of me as a bridesmaid at her wedding

    xx

I love weddings that have black in - it's a very daring thing to do but I think if its done right it can be very glamorous! My wedding colours are Black, White, Purples and silver sparkle! I think the trick is to have accents of black, that way it isn't over done and also it won't look too dark. xx

To be honest hun, it's not her wedding. You have to go with what you and your h2b would like (im learning that one the hard way lol). If it's a colour you both like then go for it, no matter what anyone else thinks x

I used to love black and pink as a combo, I think it would look fantastic as a colour theme! You're braver then I am :D
