I went for my first appointment with the dressmaker on Thursday to have the dress altered. When I ordered it and got measured up for it, the ladies said they come up small so it would be a size bigger than my usual dress size which is a 14. Anyway, I was pretty sure they had ordered a 16 due to this. When I was checking the labels on Thursday I found out it is in fact a 14 anyway, so even more chuffed as it still needs altering.

Yay! What a lovely surprise and I bet feels amazing! I'm hoping when I go to get my hem altered next year that the top part of the dress is also too big for me as it's fits just about right now (even though it will mean I have to pay for more alterations). x
