like the topper, it makes a change from a normal standing couple. just like to say also your dress looks amazing! love it. we had sugar flowers ontop of ours (pics in album). had looked into having people made but it was pricey and there wern't any pre-designed preggy brides with red hair, toppers haha. but im really happy with what we had and my mum made it too which made it that much more special xx

Our toppers were made by the same person who made our cake, and we got an all inclusive price for both together. We wanted 'us' sat down instead of the traditional standing - and originally we were going to be sat on the side of the cake, but after talking to the cake maker we cake up with a 'seat' made from icing.

I think of all the things that went through my head when we initially started the planning the cake topper was simple.. Fell in love with a cow cake i'd seen so will be have mr and mrs cows!! Not sure if I saved the pics on my album tho :)
The cake and the topper would have only cost us £140 .. will see how the prices have changed closer to the new date!

We've got this 'odd' mini theme of 'him and her' running thru our plans. I worded our invites to invite guests to the marriage of 'him to her' and our personalised web page is 'him and her getting hitched' so it seemed only right to have the words 'him and her' sticking out of one of the tiers!!

We are having a 1 layer cake, round with Plain ivory icing, my colour theme is burgundy, Ivory and gold, its got wide burgundy ribbon around the edge, on the top we're having a small flower arrangement, it's quite traditional, but I love flowers. I was going to get something really funky and modern, but when I saw this I really loved it, simple but beautiful. x

I want the cows, where did you get that.... im having a cow wedding party on the cake table, you know the cherished teddies collection?? well they do a collection of cows so i have the complete wedding set.
