    Hi Ladies,

I went on a wander around Hobby Craft and the range and I am struggling to find anything in my theme colour that I like :(
I have dreamt about having orange as my wedding colour for years, and it is H2B's favourite colour.. but I am really struggling. It's little things like nowhere seems to have paper roses in orange, or any of the nice confetti or rose petals etc.
I am teaming it with a deep purple to give a contrast, which I can find...

    uuurrrggghhh!!

I know I could probably get the stuff online, just its so much harder to guage the right shade etc.

Hey hun, there is loads on e bay and to try guage the correct shade you could just buy the least amount to test it first. Everything seems to b quite cheap on e bay so you wouldn't make too much of a loss if it was perfect. You may even b able to return it.
If you really want orange then you might just have to take the plunge and get everything online cos its quite a unique colour. (i think)

orange was in HC a couple of years ago, but unfortunately wasnt very popular. Why dont you have purple and orange centre pieces (for example orange deco beads with purple flowers in fish bowls. (you can colour the deco beads with food dye), alternate purple and orange chair sashes, orange and purple on the cake, and send out orange invites?? i think you can get orange table crystals (but dont hold me to that)

I know what you mean Crawfy but most craft shops around me don't even have much things in "popular" coulours! All the little details and accesories bits need to be bought online. plus its cheaper anyways.
Im sure whatever you do will look brilliant and like LynD said not all of your things have to b the exact same shade.

I am having Orange as my colour theme, chair sashes and table runners etc are in Orange, BM will be in Orange too and Grooms men will have orange cravets. I am having some orange flowers but will be with purple, red, pink green too as I don't want it too orange.

For invites etc I bought foam white calla lilys with small orange ribbon from bay of e. For BM hair bought a pack of peach/orange flowers possibly for their hair, was only £2 from HC.

I have gone to local habdashery for ribbon etc too
