Ok so I think I've found possible bridesmaid dresses-I love the dresses but my problem is I'm considering them in a turquoise colour as I think the dress is nicest in this colour. Thing is....what the heck kind of bouquet would match that colour? Was thinking prob safest with white but then I was thinking my bouquet would be white-how would I make mine different and unique to stand out more??

Any advice is very welcome!! x

You could still give them white flowers but maybe just have simple white rose posy bouquets for them and a tear drop one for you and maybe add some other types of flowers like calla lilys into yours? xxx

Can you have flowers dipped in a coloured dye??
Or get some coloured sticks or those twisted wooden things (wish I was better at explaining things!) and that will put some colour in.
I don't know of any turquoise flowers :S

Are you having turquoise/aqua as your colour scheme?
I am having that with silver as mine and was wondering how I would go about the flowers... having searched online I have come across the majority of brides/bridesmaids having white bouquets but when I went into a florist today to enquire about prices she mentioned that with both artificial/real flowers that turquoise can be quite tricky so rather than having coloured flowers, brides tended to have ribbon, the wooden twisty things (like Crawfy88 described!!) or gems of the colour inserted somewhere into the bouquet and around the handle as you are already in cream/white (am assuming!!) & as the bridesmaids already had turquoise colour dresses they only needed the simple white or cream flowers.

    xx

ok so ive uploaded some pictures of the dress in my album so you can have a look. its also available in pink and purple (light purple/ lilac)but as usual i cant find the purple picture at the minute! which one do you all prefer?? im hoping to shorten them to just below the knee/ calf length and put a tulle skirt below them so they sit out a bit more like vintage/ 50's style. what does everyone think??

I love the style of the dresses you've uploaded, the colours are lovely! Especially the last one! so different!
Have you got a specific colour for your theme or is this going to be the decider?x

    thanks lula88
i haven't really decided on a theme if im honest-was hoping id get some divine inspiration along the way but as yet im lost! so the colour of the bridesmaid dresses will prob be the decider. i think the turquoise is the one that really stands out but then the pink and the other 1 would allow me more options regarding flowers and that. Im sooooooo confused!!!!

Depends if you want coloured flowers or not! I was originally but now quite like the idea of picking the colour and putting it into the flowers as gems or lil detail!
Best thing to do is maybe look at the dresses tomorrow or in a couple of days and also google diff colour flowers & bouquet styles and what sort of flowers match those dresses and see out of the images what stands out most to you!

For mine we all had cream flowers but the bouquets were different shapes and the flower girl had a wand. All had matching ribbon.

There are pics in the thread I posted (I can't seem to upload pics tonight)

my bridesmaids are wearing a really nice turquoise colour (turkish blue its called) and im in ivory, my bouquet is going to be alot bigger and completely diffrent shape to the bridesmaid flowers, they are going to be cream colours and mine is in a tear drop shape and the bridesmaid flowers will also be cream but they are having a diffrent shape cant rembebr what the shapes called but it looks completely difrent to mine you could always have your bouquet like a waterfall or tear drop hanging down and the bridesmaids have a posey or if you wanted a posey they could just have smaller poseys or you could always just get them a wrist corsarge. they can do flowers now in whatever colour you want my florist was showing me 'happy roses' and she can dye them all the colours of the rainbow, i didnt really like it as they looked abit un natural to me but if you wanted the colour in there thats something you could look at. for me aswel i didnt want them carrying the same coloured flowers as there dress as they wouldnt stand out at all they would probably all just blend in to one. my florist is also bringing the blue colour out with blue diamanties and blue butterflys in with the flowers and shes doing blue cage work on the buttonholes aswel, she also mentioned that she colud bring the colour out with feathers aswel but i wasnt really in to that idea x

I'm thinking of having turquoise for my bm dress, and have found pictures of dress matched with white/ivory and pale pink flowers, a bit of colour in there but goes with anything. I'm planning a quite a bit of greenery in the bouquet rather than all flowers to have some contrast against my dress.
