After yesterdays excitement of getting the invites out today I spoke to our florist who has been fantastic since the start! I had an idea of using wicker hearts with roses to match the wedding flowers at the end of each aisle seat to sort of line the aisle because I want allowed candles at the venue. Anyway I was having a look at the bay and dunelm etc and I just couldn't find what I wanted and things were going to work out pretty expensive at £2.50-4.50 a heart and I need at least 15 of them........anyway to spoke to her earlier and she recommended me looking at the florist whole sales websites and directed me to a fantastic one where I can get wicker hearts for 90p!!!!!!!!!!!! She said she is more than happy for me to buy them and give them to her when we meet up two months before the wedding and she will decorate them, match the burgundy chiffon on the bows of the chairs and put them on the chairs on the big day! Each will have a single rose called 'burgundy ice' which matches our colour theme perfectly, then have some ribbon and ivy trailing down one side of the wicker heart! I love getting creative! I will put some picks of ideas up in my album.
