    hello,

has anyone here got/getting married in santorini or italy? me and H2B cant decide where we want to get married, and are also worrying about the cost of it all etc... its very stressfull already!! didnt think it would be too hard to plan a wedding! :/

also i have heard very mixed reviews about first choice/tompson?.. i would rather use them as there is a shop in my local town, so if anything goes wrong i know i could just moan in person, instead of by email!

any help at all will be very much appreciated!!

    xxx

    hello millz090,

thank you! that would be great! we were 75% sure on santorini but just couldnt decide on reception venue.. ours will be pretty much just family too, i think there will be between 15-20 people coming (all staying in seperate hotels) so i am worried about the stress of getting everyone to and from the hotels etc.. so was looking into weather i could have the wedding and reception in same place to make it eaiser.. but im not sure. please let me know how they got on with booking it all, my H2B doesnt want to use a travel agent, he has found a couple of greek wedding planners online that he thinks would care more, but i am very parinoid about getting ripped off, or stuff getting lost in translation!!

Lala mod bunni - i have litterly just opened an account here.. and i dont know if i am being a complete idiot or not but couldnt work out how to post on a forum that i havnt created?? .. i was trying to post in the welcoming newbies section.. and i just couldnt do it! haha! maybe i have been at work too long today..

    xx

Organising a wedding in Italy was a daunting prospect for me, as a non Italian speaking person who knows nothing about wedding planning or the country, I knew I couldn't afford to have any language barriers that may lead into "lost in translation". So I decided to hire a wedding planner from a company called "Dama wedding" (recommended by a friend)
She's extremely efficient, friendly and helpful, she provides us with many choices and great prices (venues, caterers, photographers, music,...). From the first email, we knew that we wanted to have our wedding arranged by the team.
