I have tried manually cancelling my monthly Power User fee, even though the services have been greyed out UKBRIDE is still taking money from my bank account. I have been in touch with my bank and they have said that I need to contact UKBRIDE to cancel and even though I have and they said that they are no longer taking money, they are and have been for about 3 months or something like that now, they take it about about the 9th or 10th of each month. How do I stop it for good???

I have emailed IT Man and he ain't got back to me yet. Looks like I will have to open a new bank account. They have now had £10 for the service that I cant use because it was greyed out when I asked them to cancel it. BUT they are still quite happy to take my money!!!!!

Ian is a very busy man and can't always get on his emails every day so it might take a few days for him to get back to you but he will get back to you hunni dont worry!

well I have had my gold hearts and been a PU for about 2 months, and still they take the money.....I emailed J, and also sent an invoice to whitespace publishing for them to pay me the 2 months money back. This is really not very good is it?

I find it slightly ironic...
You all pay £20 a year for the PU status, which could be put to better use; i.e. your wedding!)
Save your cash, earn the PU status and you won't have this hassle. Just my opinion you understand. ;-)))

no I only paid £2.50 per month for 3 months. the only reason to pay to do is is it gives you more chances of winning the power user prize

I paid it for a month before when they released the photo posting ability... Didn't even realise it was still coming out of the account until yesterday and I've been a power user for a year now! :/ ooops that's what I get for being so observant!
