Has anyone changed their dress from button/zip to lace up?...can this even be done?
I have fallen in love with a dress but i reallllly want it to be lace up...am i just going to have to deal with it lol?

Yeah I think its fairly simple, I almost bought a sample and that was they suggest could be done if I couldn't slim down to fit into it Have you asked if they can make it like that? Mine I could get as either

yes my sister had her changed as she put on weight and couldnt get it done up i prefer lace up back to zip and would have a dress changed to if it didn't have it already xx

I have had one of my bm's dresses changed from zip to lace back due to weight gain, the dressmaker explained it to us and its quite straightforward for them to do so you should'nt have a problem getting yours changed.

Yes it can be dont that way around, its not usually possible the other way around......from lace up to zip. a lot of people have this done, and its especially good for if you have put on weight because it gives you a little bit extra room.....but you may have to buy some matching fabric to use as a modesty panel as there wont be enough in the fabric you remove to make the corset back.
Ok the dress i am in love with is Ellis bridal 11228 (sorry i can't post pictures :( ) but yeah i really hope i can get it corseted....im quite busty and feel it fitted better lace up
