    Hello girls.
My man popped the question 2 days ago and now im so excited!!
We are planning on waiting to get married until our little girl can walk down the aisle as our flower girl, so approx 2-3 years till the big day.
Anyone else planning with a tot?? its going to be exciting having my little girl be part of this however im sure ill have lots to learn about how to cope with an inquisitive baby and bridal preparations. lol.
Recently i was bridesmaid at my bestfriends wedding, she requested i walk down the aisle with my little girl which was fantastic but as the special day got closer and i realised id have to take my entire gown off just to breastfeed i realised just how unprepared i was!? My partner had to get our little one ready on the morning of the wedding as i was required to assist the bride. Id planed everything right down to breakfast, she would have baby rice as she was wearing cream, at least if she was sick it would not show up so much on the dress. Unfortunately my partner was not aware of my reasoning and gave her mango puree!! luckily we managed to dodge any mishaps and our little ones tummy stayed calm, the day went fantastically and we spent the day with a very happy smiley 5 month old, who was more than content with being showered with praise and attention. I was so proud of my little girl and I am so happy that we will be able to share our special day with our beautiful little girl. x x

My photographer did a wedding with a bride that was breastfeeding, she still wore a beautiful dress and was able to breastfeed without taking it off! So if you wanted the wedding sooner it is possible :) Wouldn't blame you for waiting till the little one is older though lol.

    Congrats on your engagement!

Awww these posts have made me smile, thanks girls. Im not in any rush, i want to wait till she is a bit older so she can enjoy the day with us, looking forward to seeing the look on her face as she gets to try pretty dresses on, also the longer i have to wait the more time i get to enjoy planning, already got a couple of magazines to flick though and start dreaming. x x

First thing first, CONGRATULATIONS. Me and my H2B have planned our wedding with our two children being 3 and 4 when we tie the knot. Our daughter being a flower girl and our son being a pageboy. I'm sure the day will be a bit hectic but fingers crossed it will be fine in all. Have fun planning your big day. X

My h2b asked me to marry him as new year 2008 came in then march we found out I was pregnant so put everything on hold. We didnt find out what we was having, so the day our son was born I decided I wanted him walking me down the isle with my dad. His is now three and half... However I have my daughter too who will be 16 months when we get married. My son was walking at 10 months thought she would be too but no shes lazy... I didnt think she would be toddling down the isle but she started walking tonight! so I would wait till shes walking if you want to enjoy it with her. But otherwise she can still have fun and so can you just do what you think is best x

hey, i have twin boys who have just turned 4, we got engaged just after they were born and decided to wait until they could take part to actually get married.
If you're giving yourself 2-3yr you'll have plenty of time for baby caring and wedding planning :-)
    good luck xxx

My son will be almost 3.5yrs and will be pageboy/ringbearer and hopefully not drop the rings (lol), my daughter will be almost 2.5 and our flowergirl sprinkling petals down the aisle with her aunty g behind her! So happy my kids will be old enough to be aware of eveything around them and be fully involved in mummy and daddys wedding, it will be magical! : ) xx
